EDGE OF THE UNIVERSE: a solo exhibition of works by Andrew Rubinstein

ZINC contemporary is pleased to present a solo exhibition entitled EDGE OF THE UNIVERSE featuring new abstract work by Washington-based artist Andrew Rubinstein. Using layers of oil to create colorful parallel lines and "interstellar gateways," Rubinstein meditates on the anxiety of the edges of the universe. In his work, Rubinstein creates new laws that govern emerging patterns and then breaks them down, producing compositions that arise intuitively, creating an interplay that brings vibrancy and motion.
