    These pieces are inspired by a habit I enjoy of crisscrossing verbal and conceptual categories of conformity and contrast resulting in word play of list making-like verse. To me there is reciprocity between these verses and how I think of color relationships and the gaps and groupings of my mark-making. Pages and pages of such verses are scattered throughout my sketchbooks.
