"This painting came about after a weekend at Kianga on the South Coast of NSW. My friend had invited a group of artists for the weekend. The back deck looked out over a wetland and I was intrigued by the shapes and lines I could see. I made several quick line drawings here. We walked along the beach which was accessed via this wetland area. The memory of our walk along the beach with landforms inlets and the sea to wow us and my deck drawings informed this painting." - Lynne Flemons
