At Kianga there was a large peppercorn tree just at the start of the wetland that I loved looking at from the deck. I was drawn to its shape and the shapes of puddles of water that remained from the heavy rain we had experienced. There was something magical about the day, the sounds of birds, the laugher of friends and the movement of the trees in the wind.
