"Usually, my drawings are quick. I did this one from the window of the farmhouse as I was excited by the shadow cast by the house and chimney and the other shrubs, the presence of the large pines and the garden path I walked down many times. Due to the rain and stormy days I worked on the drawing longer than usual and this resulted in this world of the shadow and the pine with shed and dam in the background." - Lynne Flemons
