Join us for a special poetry reading with Montreux Rotholtz, Abi Pollokoff, and Sarah Jones in our Pioneer Square gallery.
Montreux Rotholtz is the author of Unmark (Burnside Review Press, 2017), which was selected by Mary Szybist as the winner of the Burnside Review Press Book Award. She holds an MFA from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop and her work appears in Black Warrior Review, Boston Review, Prelude, jubilat, Lana Turner, and elsewhere. She lives in Seattle. Abi Pollokoff is a Seattle-based writer with work forthcoming from or previously in CutBank, Poetry Northwest, The Spectacle, Black Warrior Review, and Guernica, among others. In Fall 2017, she was the writer in residence for The Alice. A former reader for the Seattle Review and editor in chief of the Tulane Review, she won the 2012 Anselle M. Larson/Academy of American Poets prize for Tulane University. She is the events manager for Open Books: A Poem Emporium, and a content director in visual communications. Find her at abipollokoff.com.
Sarah Jones is a poet and content specialist living in Seattle. She is the author of Lies I Tell Myself (dancing girl press & studio). She holds an M.F.A. in Poetry from Antioch University, Los Angeles. Her poetry has been featured on NPR and The Bridge. Her poems have appeared in New Ohio Review, The Normal School, Entropy magazine, Maudlin House, Raven Chronicles, City Arts Magazine, Yes, Poetry, and many other places. She is a reader for Poetry Northwest, and a 2018 and 2019 Pushcart Prize nominee.
