ZINC contemporary is pleased to present an exhibition of new paintings by Seattle-based artist Jennifer Ament in Night is Day, Day is Night. The exhibition stems from questioning the narratives of our digital personas, and the politics, fame, and celebrity of social media that push us out of reality and into an illusion. The paintings in this series comment on Ament’s experience with feminism online and the often misconstrued realities of the digital world. Her work further explores themes of existence, meaning and reality, and investigates what defines truth in our current era.
