WELCOME TO YESTERDAY
Jennifer Ament
October 7 – October 30th, 2021
“This exhibit is a commentary on how our society is sliding backwards, an unwinding of progress, especially with women’s rights. We construct stories of how life should go, a planned straight line of predefined actions that promise success and happiness. What we get is a series of ups and downs that are exacerbated by the pain and injustice apparent around us. But joy and hope are not lost; they are also around us, in the time we enjoy with family, the laughter among friends, and the moments of normalcy that we take for granted. ”
